[CLAB - Senator vs Scuare]

Not going to write a novel here, others have already taken care of that. I think Scuare got this one.

The beat wasn't bad by any means, but I do agree with the folks that said the final round should have used a more energetic track. It's whatever though. Good job Big Red and everyone else, there was a lot of entertaining music made in this competition.

personally i thought your first verse was pretty tough but the second one seemed super-soft... i'm a lil surprised how some think your least clever lines were the hardest. hmmm whatever, good battlin dude

flow was definitely crush on both sides, so well done fellas. having lyrics posted did boost my opinion for each, but HeIsAlive gets my vote based on overall delivery (enunciation points?). ill battle both cats

you can give points to a dude for going above what you expected from him (e.g. NOTHING) buuuuut in the end it should always go to the cat with more skills. The Cynic got it, no question. i'd still like to hear him more amped on his shit but whatever, if smooth & calm is his steez then ight, he rocks it well

lyrics-wise neither were bad (while reading em), but, MM was the spoken-word equivalent of illegible handwriting. also his cadence/timing/whatever (im not up on the proper terms) was off so boo-urns on that. Nimbus' flow was obv better hands-down, maybe if there was more punch-i-ness in Mao's verses it'd be closer but... nahh. sorry dude but the son of the clouds got this one on lock. the Miracle Whip/Hellman punch def got an out-loud chuckle from me also

Slap had more 'presence' but that's cuz he sounded all clownish and goofy. not that he didn't have some funny lines -- he did -- but i'd hate to have to listen to that style in subsequent rounds. sorry Slap but QSik sounds more fit for battlin so i'd rather see him advance to the next round. :P

very impressive. i rarely if ever download hip-hop off NG that isn't instrumental -- but this is certainly worth downloading, listening-to again, and showing off to cats. good job man, this is a track to be proud of.
